Privacy notice

Information we use

• Contact details: your name, email, contact number and company or brand, if supplied.
• Request details: package, quantity, requested date, artwork readiness, delivery address where needed and additional requests.
• Order records: correspondence, artwork and your approvals.

We use these details to answer enquiries, process payment, check files, arrange production and delivery or collection, and handle support, cancellations and refunds. Only provide information and artwork you are authorised to share; avoid unnecessary personal or sensitive information.

No payment is taken with your website request. When online submission is available, submitted details are saved in our website database and copied to a private Google Sheet and request emails for you and our order inbox. Opening an email draft or copying its details does not submit a request to us. If you send it, we receive an email and may manually add the details to our private order tracker.

If we send a Stripe payment link, Stripe processes the payment details; we do not store your full card number or security code. We also use limited technical information, including short-lived hashed rate-limit identifiers, to protect request submission and investigate errors.

Who receives it

We use Google Workspace for email, artwork links and private order tracking; Stripe for payments; and Sites/Cloudflare hosting infrastructure for website delivery and order records. Service providers involved in production and fulfilment receive only the information needed for your order. These services may process information outside Singapore.

If your artwork includes identifiable people or other personal information, tell us before sending it so that we can review the handling requirements with you.

Keeping information secure and limiting retention

Order records and artwork are not published by default. Please share Drive files with kai@cheapgoodbackdrops.com using restricted access, not a public link. We restrict access to people and service providers who need it for the purposes above.

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for your order, support and disputes, and applicable accounting or legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, it should be deleted or anonymised. Financial records may need to be retained longer than working artwork. You can contact us about a particular file or record.

Cookies and communications

Our request form uses an essential browser cookie to recognise retries and help prevent duplicate requests and abuse. Stripe and hosting services may use their own security technologies. Request copies, order confirmations and service updates are part of handling your enquiry or order. Submitting a request or purchasing does not give us permission to publish your artwork, photographs or testimonial; portfolio use and marketing permission are separate.

Optional website analytics

If you choose Accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand visits to our public pages, which campaigns or search referrals bring people to the website, and whether visitors choose an email link or successfully submit a website request. Analytics uses cookies and collects technical information such as a browser identifier, page visits, device information and approximate location. Google may process this information outside Singapore.

We send public page addresses, approved campaign labels and simple event labels for email-link clicks and successfully received website requests. A click is not treated as a received enquiry, and a received request is not automatically treated as a qualified sales opportunity. We do not send your enquiry fields, email address, phone number, delivery address, artwork, payment details or order references to Analytics. Advertising personalisation and automatic form tracking are disabled.

Analytics remains off until you accept. You can decline and still use the website, or change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. We remember your choice in this browser for up to 180 days. Analytics cookies are set for up to 180 days; declining stops measurement and removes this site's Analytics cookies. It does not delete data already received by Google.

Your choices and privacy requests

To ask about our privacy practices, request access or correction, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a concern, email kai@cheapgoodbackdrops.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before providing records.

We will explain any applicable limitation, legal retention requirement or effect on completing your order. We will not ask you to send unnecessary identity documents or full payment-card details by email.
